A little about this adorable family: Sophie and I went to college together (go photo majors!), and she was in need of some photographs as a present for her Mom. That's where I come in! You may recognize her oh-so-cute son, Arthur from his earlier debut on my blog! 

Alyssa

Well it's be a long while now, and to be honest, Alyssa has had her photos for quite a long time. I just wanted to share a few more than the preview. Her mother was kind enough to show me one of the invitations and I have to say, it was very well done! It's always exciting to see photos I have taken incorporated into people's lives. It really makes my day! It was interesting to see when people respond to different photos then you think they will. For an example, in Alyssa's case there were a couple photos that I was hesitant to include, but they turned out to be some of her favorites!

I had a wonderful time this morning this lovely lady and her amazing mother (who happens to be a coworker of mine)! Alyssa is probably the sweetest, shyest girl I have ever met and that is saying something because I, myself, am pretty darn shy (or was as photography has made me step out of my shell)! I'm so excited about these photos that I couldn't help but post a few asap!

Arthur - the cutest little monster around

I had a wonderful visit this weekend with a friend from my college days (oh so long ago! haha...just kidding), and while I was there we took some quick photos of her adorable son Arthur. I didn't really do a ton of editing on these and we didn't worry about the backdrop too much, just some quick shots to practice my baby photography skills. Before we started she asked if I wanted to keep the normal outfit or if I wanted an outrageous outfit. Seriously, who can turn down an opportunity like that? I give you Arthur: the cutest little monster you'll ever meet!  

Preview: MiKenzie's Senior Portraits

So it's preview time today and boy do I have a treat for you all! It's coming up on Senior Portrait season, and not only did I get to photograph a beautiful girl, she also happens to be my niece as well! MiKenzie and I had so much fun shooting this past Saturday, and she sure got a lot of cat calls and oogling the whole time! We were a little worried in the morning with the pouring rain, but decided if it didn't let up we'd do some full on rain shots. Being Tucson though, five minutes after that conversation the rain went away, leaving a beautiful (chilly) day to photograph! There were so many I wanted to share, but this is just a preview and I've got a lot more to go through. Here are a few from some of the different locations, and some of my favorites!

Zach, Adrianna and Mackenzie

Another fall shoot was Zack and his family. I worked with Zack in the past, so it was wonderful for him to message me about doing some family photos for the Christmas season. We went to Agua Caliente park, which was a completely new location for me! I was really impressed with how prepared Adrianna was with some props and we even did a mini-session with just Mackenzie at the end! This was my first time shooting anyone under 5 with others. Let me tell you, I have a lot more respect for baby photographers! I wish I had gotten more with everyone focused on the camera, but we still managed to get some fun ones!

Brittney, Justin and Bella

Hello, long time no see! I am terrible at keeping up with this blog. I wanted to share a few photos from one of my shoots this past fall. Now, I know what you're thinking. "This past fall? It's January!!!" Well, I can't argue with that. I haven't really spent a lot of time on my computer besides to edit and check email, glance at facebook, etc. Shame on me, I know! Anyways, on to the good stuff.

Brittney called me up for some family photos in November and we set up a date to shoot. We had a fun time in the area near the Arizona Inn, so much so that we were late getting over to our second shoot area - the Presidio Park area. Long story short, we got some great shots in the first location, but I wish more of the second location had come out better. I want to shoot there again sometime, not when it's super dark!
